Description

Lamt is a powerful medium-class combat walker built for strategic battlefield dominance through close to mid-range firepower. This miniature exhibits an intimidating visual profile, marked by twin heavy-barreled weapons mounted on each arm that suggest a devastating punch in direct confrontations. Flanking these are reinforced armor housings and layered plating across the shoulders and torso, highlighting its durability. The central torso features additional venting or targeting systems, while the arms show integrated targeting sensors and cooling vanes for high-energy weapon discharge. The legs are broad and sturdy, enhancing balance during intense exchanges and allowing for efficient mobility over uneven terrain.

Lore: The **Lamt** emerged from Inner Sphere research labs as a response to increasing Clan threats, designed to blend firepower, resilience, and flexibility in mid-weight units. Unlike heavier mechs that rely solely on brute force, the Lamt focuses on hitting hard and enduring counterstrikes, making it a favorite for frontline spearhead tactics. Its arm-mounted cannons are known for concentrated bursts of energy and kinetic force, capable of crippling enemy armor with well-placed shots. During several planetary defense campaigns, Lamt units were deployed in mixed lances to anchor formation lines, drawing fire and delivering return punishment while heavier allies maneuvered into flanking positions. Aesthetically formidable and tactically robust, this model adds commanding presence and mechanical aggression to any Inner Sphere force.

Quite possibly the best 3D print I've ever gotten.

The SMB prints can look a little toy-like in the preview, but this is an astounding good sculpt for the Lament. It is a multi-part model, ball joints on the arms and torso, but fixed joints to ensure the legs go on without looking wonky on a base. The detail on these is superb, excellently sculpted, and excellently printed by John here, needing very little clean-up, and having none of the usual thin and brittle parts that end up flaking or breaking.
    Highly recommended.
