The Bandit hover tank is a formidable 50-ton combat vehicle that has played a significant role in the Inner Sphere conflicts. Originally designed by the Clan, this highly adaptable OmniVehicle was brought to the Inner Sphere by Wolf’s Dragoons. Equipped with three Blackwell Opal medium lasers in its turret, two front-mounted Blackwell Pilum SRM-2 launchers, and a machine gun, the Bandit is a versatile vehicle that can provide both short and long-range fire support. Its carrying capacity of up to eight tons of infantry space also makes it an ideal vehicle for transporting troops into battle. The Bandit was primarily used by the Wolf’s Dragoons, who took great care to conceal its true nature and often reconfigured the tanks to confuse enemy attempts to estimate the actual quantity of their forces. Its impressive capabilities and rich history make it an essential part of BattleTech lore.

Condor Hover Tank

  • The turret includes cutouts specifically designed to fit magnets with a diameter of 3mm and a height of 2mm

The Condor is a heavy cavalry unit designed for swift response to rapidly changing battle conditions, and is one of the few heavy hover tanks available. Despite its high cost of purchase and maintenance, this formidable hovercraft boasts impressive speed capabilities, with a flank speed of 129 km/h and a cruising speed of 86 km/h, making it one of the fastest vehicles in its weight class and able to keep pace with even the swiftest ‘Mechs and vehicles. The tank’s armor, consisting of six tons of StarSlab/9.5 Mk II, provides significant protection for its role, though its bulk is concentrated on the front and turret, leaving the sides relatively vulnerable.

First introduced just prior to the formation of the original Star League, the Condor quickly became one of Red Devil Industries’ most popular products and remained so for centuries. It was widely utilized across the Inner Sphere, with the militaries of the Lyran Commonwealth, Federated Suns, and Capellan Confederation fielding the majority of the tanks during the Succession Wars. However, the capture of Red Devil’s factories by Clan Jade Falcon in 3064 resulted in the loss of the design until it was secured by Quikscell Company. They developed an advanced new-tech version of the classic design, which proved to be highly popular and even sold in kit form to meet demand.

The Condor’s weaponry is tailored to its role as a medium-range attack vehicle capable of engaging enemies on the move. Its turret is equipped with a GM Whirlwind Class 5 autocannon and a pair of Defiance B3M medium lasers, with Red Devil Industries actually building their own under license. Initially, Defiance Industries refused to allow Red Devil to build their own, leading to Red Devil offering a bounty for used or slightly damaged lasers to recondition and install on new Condors. However, when Defiance Industries noticed that their flagship BattleMech designs were being targeted by foes looking to collect the bounty, they relented. Additionally, the SureFire MiniGun, mounted on the body, serves as an anti-personnel weapon.

The Harasser hover Missile Platform is a formidable weapon system in the Battletech universe. It is a ground-based vehicle that hovers over terrain, allowing it to move quickly and easily over rough or uneven ground. The platform is equipped with an array of missile launchers, making it a devastating long-range weapon against enemy forces.

In Battletech lore, the Harasser hover Missile Platform was developed by the Federated Suns as a means of providing fire support to ground troops. Its ability to hover over terrain made it an ideal platform for launching missiles from a distance, allowing it to engage enemy forces without putting itself in harm’s way.

The vehicle is heavily armored, making it resistant to enemy fire, and is equipped with an advanced targeting system that allows it to track and engage multiple targets simultaneously. The Harasser hover Missile Platform is typically deployed in support of ground troops, providing cover fire and disrupting enemy movements.

One of the unique features of the Harasser hover Missile Platform is its ability to use indirect fire to strike at enemy forces that are hidden behind cover. By launching missiles over obstacles, the platform can hit targets that would otherwise be difficult to engage directly.

In Battletech gameplay, the Harasser hover Missile Platform is a popular choice for players who favor long-range weapons and tactics. Its speed and mobility make it an effective platform for hit-and-run attacks, while its missile launchers allow it to deal devastating damage from a safe distance.

Harya Hover Tank

From 7,42$
  • The miniature comes in four separate pieces
  • Miniature length: 39 mm – 1,53 inch
  • Assembly of the parts requires adhesive
  • A hover Hex Base is included

The Harrier Hovercraft is armed with a variety of weapons, including machine guns, missile launchers, and laser cannons. These weapons allow it to engage enemy forces from a distance and provide covering fire for friendly troops.

One of the key features of the Harrier Hovercraft is its ability to operate in a variety of environments, including swamps, forests, and deserts. This makes it a versatile vehicle that can be used in a wide range of combat situations.

Despite its many advantages, the Harrier Hovercraft is not without its weaknesses. Its reliance on ground effect to maintain altitude makes it vulnerable to attacks from above, such as from helicopters or other aircraft. Additionally, the vehicle’s hovering capabilities can be disrupted by rough terrain or adverse weather conditions.

In the BattleTech universe, the Harrier Hovercraft is primarily used by military forces for reconnaissance and scouting missions, as well as for rapid deployment of troops and supplies. The vehicle is relatively fast and agile, making it well-suited for hit-and-run tactics and quick strikes against enemy targets.

J. Edgar – Hover Tank

From 6,35$
  • The miniature comes in two separate pieces
  • Miniature length: 37,80 mm – 1,48 inch
  • Assembly of the parts requires adhesive
  • The turret includes cutouts specifically designed to fit magnets with a diameter of 3mm and a height of 2mm
  • The turret can rotate
  • A hover Hex Base is included
  • Five weapon configurations

The J. Edgar Hover Tank is a relatively small vehicle, measuring just 7.5 meters in length and 5 meters in width. It is powered by a fusion engine that allows it to reach speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour, making it one of the fastest vehicles in the BattleTech universe.

The J. Edgar Hover Tank is armed with a pair of machine guns and a single SRM-4 missile launcher, which gives it a decent amount of firepower for its size. However, its true strength lies in its speed and agility, which allow it to evade enemy fire and strike at vulnerable targets with hit-and-run tactics.

Despite its impressive speed, the J. Edgar Hover Tank is not heavily armored, and its thin hull can be easily penetrated by larger weapons. As a result, it is primarily used for scouting and hit-and-run attacks, rather than direct combat.

In conclusion, the J. Edgar Hover Tank is a fast and agile vehicle that is well-suited for reconnaissance and skirmishing. While it may not be as heavily armed or armored as some of the larger vehicles in the BattleTech universe, its speed and maneuverability make it a valuable asset on the battlefield.
